How to apply attar the right way (7 steps)

Most people put attar on the back of the hand and rub their wrists together. That is the fastest way to waste it. Here is the method we use and teach on the channel:

1. Start with clean, dry skin. Attar sits best on skin with no sweat or old fragrance.
2. Swipe on your wrist pulse points. One gentle swipe of the applicator on the inside of the wrist.
3. Pat your wrists together. Do not rub. Rubbing creates heat and breaks the top notes.
4. Apply on both sides of the neck, just above the collarbone.
5. Touch your wrists to your neck to spread it evenly.
6. Dab a little in your palms and press them together gently.
7. Dab gently on your clothes (chest and sleeves) for all-day scent. Skip this if the attar is dark and your clothes are light, as it can stain.
