Short answer: buy Hawas Ice if you want the safest fresh compliment-getter, Hawas Sapphire if you want something more unique and premium, Hawas Fire for a salty-ambery evening scent, and the original Hawas if you want the legend that started it all at the lowest price.
The Rasasi Hawas family has exploded. What began as one blue bottle in 2015 is now Ice, Fire, Sapphire, Kobra, Malibu, Tropical, Chrome, Elixir, Nautilus, Gold Digger, Black, Viper, Venom and more. No wonder “which Hawas should I buy” is one of the most common questions in our YouTube comments.
We sell more Hawas than any other perfume line at Fragstalk.in: Hawas Ice is our number one seller and the original Hawas is number two. We have worn every one of these, and this guide breaks down each Hawas by smell, season, performance and value.

First, what makes a Hawas a Hawas?
The original Rasasi Hawas (2015) built its fame on a simple, addictive idea: crisp apple and citrus, a warm touch of cinnamon and cardamom, a juicy plum heart and a watery ambergris base. It smells fresh but slightly sweet, which is exactly what works in Indian weather. Most flankers keep this “fresh-sweet with ambergris” backbone and change the twist: ice (star anise and moss), fire (salt and amber), tropical fruits (Malibu, Chrome, Tropical) or dessert (Elixir).
In perfumery language, the Hawas family sits mainly in the Fruit (F), Citrus (C) and Animal-ambergris (U) odour groups, with spice (S) as the accent. That is why they feel lively in the opening and smooth and skin-like in the drydown.
Every Hawas reviewed
1. Rasasi Hawas Ice: the best seller for a reason
Hawas Ice takes the original and makes it colder and cleaner. The opening is a blast of icy apple, lemon and bergamot with a cooling star anise that almost feels like a sip of chilled soda. Plum and cardamom keep it juicy, and the base is musk, amber, driftwood and moss. It is fresh enough for May afternoons and sweet enough to get noticed at night.
It has 9,000+ ratings on Fragrantica with a 4.39 score, and over 400 bottles left our warehouse in the last three months.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Apple, Italian Lemon, Sicilian Bergamot, Star Anise; Heart: Plum, Orange Blossom, Cardamom; Base: Musk, Amber, Driftwood, Moss
- Performance: 8 to 10 hours on skin, strong projection for 3 to 4 hours. Clothes hold it overnight.
- Best for: Summer, college, office (3 sprays), gym, everyday compliments
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,199 · 10ml decant ₹499
2. Rasasi Hawas: the original legend
The one that started it all and still our number two seller. Compared to Ice, the original is a little sweeter and more aquatic: apple and cinnamon on top, watery notes and plum in the heart, ambergris and driftwood in the base. It is cheaper than Ice and many people actually prefer its warmer, rounder feel in the monsoon and evenings.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Apple, Bergamot, Lemon, Cinnamon; Heart: Watery Notes, Plum, Orange Blossom, Cardamom; Base: Ambergris, Musk, Patchouli, Driftwood
- Performance: 8 hours plus, moderate to strong projection.
- Best for: Value for money, all-season daily wear
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹2,849 · 10ml decant ₹525
3. Rasasi Hawas Sapphire: our personal number one
Sapphire is the most underrated Hawas. Guava, blackcurrant and bergamot open bright and tropical; orange blossom and creamy sandalwood follow; tonka, musk and ambergris finish it. It is fresh but more refined and unique than Ice, and in our Top 5 Hawas ranking it beat Ice for first place. Some reviewers say its drydown reminds them of Blue Talisman.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Guava, Blackcurrant, Bergamot; Heart: Orange Blossom, Sandalwood; Base: Musk, Tonka Bean, Ambergris
- Performance: 8 to 10 hours, moderate projection, very smooth drydown.
- Best for: Office, dates, people who want to smell different from the crowd
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,949 · 10ml decant ₹599
4. Rasasi Hawas Fire: salty, ambery and grown-up
Despite the name, Fire is not spicy. It is a mineral, salty marine scent built on clary sage, jasmine and a big amber-ambergris base. It feels like warm skin after a day at the sea. It has a slightly darker, more mature feel than Ice, and works beautifully in the evenings and in cooler months.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Clary Sage; Heart: Marine Notes, Egyptian Jasmine; Base: Amber, Mineral Notes, Ambergris
- Performance: 8 to 10 hours, good projection.
- Best for: Evenings, autumn and winter, men 25+
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,999 · 10ml decant ₹594
5. Rasasi Hawas Kobra: green tea and ginger freshness
Kobra drops the sweetness and goes for clean freshness: ginger, bergamot and tangerine, then green tea, neroli and a touch of cinnamon over musk and woods. It is the most “office-friendly” Hawas and has a 4.31 rating from nearly 3,000 voters. If you find Ice too sweet, try Kobra.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Ginger, Bergamot, Tangerine; Heart: Green Tea, Neroli, Cinnamon; Base: Musk, Woodsy Notes, Amber
- Performance: 6 to 8 hours, moderate projection.
- Best for: Office, hot humid days, men who dislike sweet perfumes
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,249 (sold out right now) · 10ml decant ₹574
6. Rasasi Hawas Malibu: the holiday Hawas
Pineapple, orange and grapefruit over a soft amber, orris (iris) and lavender heart, with tonka, musk and cashmeran in the base. Sweeter and more relaxed than Ice, like a beach holiday in Goa. Very pleasant and easy to like.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Pineapple, Orange, Grapefruit; Heart: Amber, Orris, Lavender; Base: Tonka Bean, Musk, Patchouli, Cashmeran
- Performance: 6 to 8 hours.
- Best for: Holidays, casual outings, summer evenings
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹2,799 · 10ml decant ₹490
7. Rasasi Hawas Chrome: juicy tropical crowd-pleaser
Peach, mango, passion fruit and sweet orange on a musky vanilla amber base. Chrome is fruity, loud and fun, a mass compliment getter for a younger crowd. Not subtle, but that is the point.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Peach, Yellow Fruits, Sweet Orange; Heart: Fruits, Passion Fruit, Mango, Water; Base: Musk, Amber, Vanilla
- Performance: 7 to 8 hours, strong projection.
- Best for: College, parties, under 25s
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,949 · 10ml decant ₹599
8. Rasasi Hawas Elixir: the winter dessert Hawas
Elixir is the most different flanker: mint, bergamot and artemisia on top, then dark chocolate, lavender and benzoin, and a creamy vanilla and tonka base. Think “mint chocolate with a fougère twist”. Rated 4.47, one of the highest in the family. Wear it in December, not May.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Mint, Bergamot, Artemisia; Heart: Dark Chocolate, Lavender, Benzoin; Base: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, White Musk
- Performance: 8 to 10 hours in cool weather.
- Best for: Winter nights, dates
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹2,949 · 10ml decant ₹495
9. Rasasi Hawas Nautilus: salty beach woods
Ambergris and sea water, cypress and cedar, sand and driftwood. Nautilus is a dry, salty woody-marine scent that smells like a walk on the beach at sunset. Unique and mature, less sweet than any other Hawas.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Ambergris, Sea Water; Heart: Cypress, Cedar; Base: Sand, Driftwood
- Performance: 6 to 8 hours, moderate projection.
- Best for: Men who want a clean, salty, non-sweet scent
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,837 · 10ml decant ₹580
10. Rasasi Hawas Gold Digger: sweet pear and cinnamon
Pear, lavender, mint and bergamot open into cinnamon and sage, then a vanilla, amber and cedar base. It sits in the sweet-spicy “evening fougère” style that many people love from popular designer night-out scents.
- Notes (Fragrantica): Top: Pear, Lavender, Mint, Bergamot; Heart: Cinnamon, Sage; Base: Vanilla, Amber, Cedarwood, Patchouli
- Performance: 7 to 9 hours.
- Best for: Evenings, cooler months, dates
- Price at Fragstalk: 100ml bottle ₹3,860 · 10ml decant ₹580
